I waited 4 hours and 15 minutes for assistance

Last Wednesday 13 April I 2016 at 16h55 I had a mechanical breakdown in Westdene/Melville after picking up my 6 year old from school. Within 10 minutes, AA dispatched ADT security to wait with me for a technician. The technician arrived after 18.00. Unable to assist, he requested a tow truck. I wiated form 18.25 to 21h15 for the towtruck and got home at 21.40, almost 5 hours after my first call.

I am mortified at the kind of service I received. I had several agents promising to find out where the towtruck was and phone me back. At some point I was told it will take 23 minutes, yet no towtruck showed up. My 6 year old had to use the bathroom and the call centre agent suggested that I find somewhere for her to urinate. The ADT would not take us to the nearest filling station, company policy.

I have made very few calls to AA but I do remember being assisted in reasonable time. I was left stranded for 5 hours with my daughter yet I pay AA to be there in an EMERGENCY.
