Good service

I was transferred to Joslin Pienaar by a call centre agent who was very courteous and knowledgeable, but who was not in a position to revise the premium quoted. She had a look at my quote and explained why the amount was what it was, but she was able to revise it and explain the underwriting procedures/criteria which resulted in the premium being what it was. There were one or two other adjustments I wanted on the policy, but the relevant department had closed for the day. She promised to call back the following day at 9am, and she did, at 9am, and she transferred me to this other department, and another equally competent, courteous and knowledgeable person assisted me. All in all, very good attitude and service - one or two other insurers can take a leaf out of AA Insurance's book when it comes to competence of staff, attitude and service. Even the company who did the vehicle inspection were efficient and friendly. Not a normal South African trait, so it was a real breath of fresh air dealing with these people, and I would recommend the company to anyone.
