Extremely Late Help, Bad Service, Incomplete Payment

Getting stuck with your car after a mechanical breakdown and seeing the service provider arrive after more than eight (!) hours is one thing. Having the AA refuse to assist with a rented car to get back home – while part of your insurance and promised during phone calls before – is another thing. But to arrange the refund afterwards appears to be even worse. The AA acknowledged the mistake with the rented car and agreed to pay back both a part of the accommodation (the only reason we needed this accommodation was because of the extremely late arrival of the towing service) and the entire sum of the rental car. The accommodation payment was received within a more or less reasonable time. Thanks for that. It’s taken now almost two months - numerous times of the AA agreeing to pay back the entire sum of the rental car – as many times of the AA not following up on mails/calls… and still no payment. Last call (from me of course, the AA does not follow up itself) it seems the AA is changing its mind regarding a refund. Maybe the AA should take some time and listen to all recorded calls again before changing the information time and again?
