Automobile Association (AA): fantastic service

I needed assistance on four occasions in the last few months. The AA’s call centre spent only minutes on obtaining my particulars and the nature of the problem, and informed me of when I could expect help to arrive. Confirmation SMSs rapidly followed, including the AA technician’s name, as well as the website for tracking progress. On each occasion Mr Frau (in Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha) arrived before I had time to log in, and in a very short time got my car fired up. He was very pleasant and on one occasion followed me to my destination when I asked him to ensure that I arrived safely. More recently, my car needed to be towed. Again, within minutes, the AA’s flatbed arrived. The young lady in the AA’s call centre called me several times to confirm whether my vehicle had been loaded, whether it had been delivered to the mechanic I had nominated, and then to enquire whether I, personally, was safe. (I was). I think I understood her name to be Mau. Her friendliness and support were much appreciated.
