Administrative staff desperately in need of training

I have for years been claiming a small discount on my AA membership fees as a SAMA member. This year has been an absolute disaster dealing with 2 clueless agents that are probably reflective of the company as a whole. Firstly I was emailed my discounted amount to pay, my payment was acknowledged and I was told that my membership was renewed. One month later I received a statement reflecting an outstanding balance. I was then told that the previous quote did not take into account all my products (which by the way have been constant for years) and that I now needed to pay an additional amount. I made the second payment and have repeatedly been asking for a statement reflecting a zero balance. How difficult is it to produce the statement?? The agents involved have on multiple occasions either ignored my request or rep**** with a totally evasive incoherent response in which I am also unprofessionally addressed by a different surname.

I have for years been paying this slightly discounted rate but this is an unprecedented experience and speaks of a disorganised company in decline. There are many insurance and security companies that offer similar value added products so is an AA membership really worth all the inconvenience?? They are incapable of producing a simple statement...
