Accusing US for their mistakes!!!!

A couple of weeks ago my daughter's car didn't start. She called the AA and once they'd started the car they said there was nothing wrong with the battery and that a 'switch' in the car was turned the wrong way! They also said if she had further problems to call them again. The following morning, once again, the car didn't start. As I was away at the time, she took my car and used it for a few days. Yesterday she called the AA again. This time, when a mechanic arrived, he told her that in actual fact, the battery that had been fitted last June BY THE AA, was actually the wrong size - it is too big for her car - it had a crack in it, the 2 rods that hold the battery in place are missing, and that required terminals had been removed - apparently the first mechanic who checked the battery saying nothing was wrong with it, was blind to all these issues!!!! Today she received a call from YOUR MANAGEMENT, telling her that it's actually OUR FAULT that the wrong sized battery was installed into the car, and that we are now responsible for having the terminals replaced. Not sure how we're supposed to do that when the car isn't currently driveable!!!!! To say I'm beyond disgusted by your lack of professionalism and your mechanics who don't seem to have a clue what they're doing is an understatement!!! How dare you tell us that this is OUR fault!! We pay you (not a small sum) on a monthly basis so that when we need your services, we can use them. I certainly don't expect to be accused of wrong-doing, when I'm not actually the one who's done anything wrong!!! What are you going to do to fix this situation??
