AA South-Africa - Sells us a dummy.
I was stranded on the Western bypass with a broken fan belt. An attendent was dispatched from a dispatch more than 30min away. I was telephonnically informed that the assistant was instructed that he could not give me any assistance. This confused me, why else would I need him but for "roadside assistance".
On his arrival I was handed two wrenches I needed to fit the new fanbelt I had. The assistant returned to his vehicle. After approximately 15min and at 18:30 the evening he was instructed by his supervisor that he had to leave as the assistance was taking to long. His wrenches were handed back and he left me still with a fanbelt unreplaced.
This all for a client of more than 5 years and who never missed a single payment on the highest package they offer.
Ive been paying for the chance that I might need roadside assistance one day. The day I needed it I was told I cant have it. Please can someone tell me why Im paying close to R220 a month for a magazine? As this is the only thing of value Ive been able to use for my monthly contributions.
