AA not yet on top of Data Privacy - it may keep them from @WIN Team Status

The Automobile Association of South Africa appear to have very little regard for Data Privacy. I received unsolicited SMS marketing vee whiel I am registered on Opt-Out Databae. I requested Automobile Association of South Africa to please confirm source of my personal information - email and mobile number oj 17 July 2021. I was asked to provide AA membership number so that they van assist with updating my details. Not only am I not an AA Member but they did not understand my query. The A Team advised me on 5th August that they "will check with [their] marketing department and get back to [me]| - I am still waiting.
