AA leaving you stranded when you need them the most.

Been a member of the AA for many years, this morning had to get a tow to VW used the AA app requested a tow at 06:00 am, app shows case created waited till 7 am no response. I phoned the contact number asking when can I expect the tow truck were informed I am not a AA member so they canceled the call out. When I provided my membership no, the call center agent says they system shows I am a member but why their system is not working they do not know. So what have a learned do not rely on the AA emergency app and if you use their panic button do not expect help when you are in dire need of assistance. For a long time member this is a major let down and disappointment. Makes me rethink the use and purpose of having a emergency tow and panic membership with the AA "The not so 24 hrs assist service"The
