AA leaves member in the lurch due to dysfunctional membership department

A week ago I wrote this, AA has done NOTHING since, service not confirmed, no email response, if I have a car emergency now I am alone, despite paying 28 days ago: "For the third year in a row, the AA is unable to properly process my membership renewal AFTER I already paid by credit card on 8 October, 16 whole days before due date. Every year I have to call the AA back to sort out the fact that I have already paid, then the records are searched and my status is updated as "Paid". Do you have no competent systems and registration department? Today I received a call, reference 5 0 3 4 2 1 8 7 1 from the AA indicating that my membership has expired and I must pay. How can I trust this organization to have my correct status on the system when I call with a roadside emergency? I PAID 17 DAYS AGO ALREADY!!!!!!!!! No more useless phonecalls, email janmconradie at gmail dot com, member ********** 71."
