Aa complaint
I have been an aa member for half a century Normally nothing but praise Last month called them to jump start my mom’s car. She was told her battery is finished and they will sell her a new battery. I checked up and saw we still had a 2 year warrenty on it. We told them, and they sent 2nd guy who said we dont drive the car enough and need to leave it for a while on our charger We did, and a day later it was dead again. Now the 3rd guy then puts in a new battery and takes the old one. Its been working like a bomb, so why am i complaining........ Well i get a call a month later from the 3rd technician saying he is coming to put the old battery back and taking new one!!!!!!! Why? Because battery centre says its fine! I refused and said i will tAlk to his manager. I was told this was a private matter and he did me a favour by loaning the battery. The supervisor phoned me and said this was correct, our battery needed to be charged properly! And also if i charged it myself it was no longer under warrenty! Really!!!!!!!! I refused again, as it was decided the battery was no good by the first guy, and just cant take a chance. I pay membership, paid for the battery, and it all gets spun around to be my fault
