9 hours bad service

I had a mechanical breakdown on the 28th of April at about 5 past 12 in the afternoon. I called AA at 12:18 pm and was promised assistance but I should be patient as the traffic at the Mall of Africa was disrupting services. I don't know why that should affect me as the breakdown was kilometres away in Brooklyn Pretoria. I waited patiently and received calls on my 081...number from AA consultants to re-assure me that help was on the way. 3 hours later to my shock and horror I received a message on my phone that the road assistance case was closed as it was resolved this was at 15:07. I then called AA and was told the driver closed the call because he had arrived at Brooklyn and I had not answered my phone. I proceeded to dispute this as I had the phone with me all afternoon and I had no missed calls. they told me the driver had been assigned to another call and he would only be able to come back to me after he finished that call. At approximately 16h00 the driver arrived and he told me that he had called me on 084... which is no longer working and no one had advised him of the new number that I had requested to be called on and which AA had been using to call me on. when he could not contact me on that number why did he not check with dispatchers if he had the right number on not before closing the call? he proceeded to check the car and he was unable to fix the car. He informed me that he had informed AA to send the tow truck to collect the car. this was at 16h30. After a few minutes I got worried because AA had not called to confirm or inform me of the AA driver being dispatched or enquire about the address for towing. The consultant proceeded to take my details and confirmed that the tow truck would be dispatched. I called again a short while later to give an alternative number to be contacted in case they had issues with the 081 number and was assured the Tow truck was dispatched. this was at approximately 17h00. only at 19h07 did the tow truck driver call me to advise he would be coming to tow the car and to ask for the address to which he must come and pick up the car as he could not pick it up on GPS. I sent him the address and he arrived at Brooklyn at 20H00 at night. At this stage I was extremely upset about his lateness and he informed me that only at 19H00 he had received instructions to come and tow my car. I was told at 17H00 that a tow truck had already been dispatched. in other words I was **** to. I only got home at 21H00. 9 hours after the breakdown. I am so disappointed as I expected way better than this. Totally unacceptable level of service.
