The Biggest ********!!!

My car was involved in a rear-end accident. I am insured with King Price they use Automagic as their pannel beater, went in for an assessment, and I was told my car is a write-off because the total amount that they would spend to fix my car, is 65% more than the value of my car... I asked for the quotation, and just for a bumper of a Suzuki Swift, I was charged R17 500.00!! For parts ONLY the quotation amounted to R60 000.00, I sourced for quotations the same parts from two other Suzuki genuine parts providers, and their quotes amounted to R20 000.00, the front bumper from both the parts providers that I reached out to was R7 250.00. I know panel beaters are supposed to add a markup of 25% on parts but that can never amount to R17 500.00 for a front bumper of R7 250.00!!! They said their prices are system generated, my question is where does that system get those ridiculously inflated prices?? Long Story Short, the quotation was revised and my car was no longer a write-off but had I just accepted, I would have lost a perfectly driving car, and money to make up for my bank shortfall!!
