Poor customer service

Following a rear-end collision mid August 2025 where the at-fault driver had no insurance, I faced an exorbitant excess payment, which I half paid upfront. This apparently would ensure procuring parts quickly. My vehicle, initially promised a 7-day repair, took 29 days to fix, after a delay of 1 month to 'book' my vehicle in for the repair. This required me to call repeatedly to extend the rental car, because only a few days extension were permitted. The ordeal worsened when the car battery went flat, necessitating a replacement in order to received my vehicle back in working order. Thereafter, the battery center I visited to check the battery a day later revealed it had been loosely installed. Additionally, the car was returned with dirty marks, prompting a valet service to restore it to an acceptable condition. I was told the insurance would cover an auto electrician resetting the computer due to the drained battery, but I had to follow up again to confirm when this would be completed. The experience has been financially draining as I’ve had to cover multiple unexpected costs to get my car back in order. The. tailgate replacement, seems to be installed properly and I cannot see any fault with the workmanship.
