Automagic Stikland poor servic

Dear Auto Magic This letter will now be seen as an exhibit to prove that after numerous visits and phone calls, nothing is yet been done to fix the defects on my motor vehicle. After my last conversation with Cornè the manager of Auto Magic Willow rd Stikland, Bellville, I believe that the problems on my motor vehicle will eventually be rectified. Ever since nothing has been done and the vehicle is still in the same condition.

During the repairing of my vehicle the following incidents happened: The front window of the vehicle was open during my first visit to the panel shop while sanding work was busy taking place. When I enquire about the reason for the open window, no reasonable explanation was given, they just ensure me the vehicle will be taken for a full valet. Something worth mentioning here is that after verbally requesting three times and once telephonically, to cover my motor vehicle with a plastic cover to protect it against overspray, they finally adhere to my request. Their first attempt to respray the damaged panels and blending was unsuccessful. Reason for this was that the color matching was incorrect. A door handle that was sanded on the inside for unknown reason remains sanded after the vehicle was handed back to me. Overspray remains on the complete vehicle.

After several attempts with waxing, clay bar treatment the vehicles body is almost back where it was before it went into Auto Magic. The rear left mag that was sent away to some Mag repair shop had a few running paint marks and remains in a bad state. During the assembly of the mag, the wheel nuts were not tightened so the mag nearly come off one day on my way to Grootte Schuur Hospital. The plastic trimming around the rear window is peeled and damaged after the repairs. The rear bumper has stains near the exhaust that was not there before the repair work. The same squicking noise remains yet after the repairs. This can be heard continually during driving with the vehicle.

The next part is seen by other panel shops as unprofessional and incompetend. The left side that was smashed in during the accident remains bent inwards after the vehicle was handed over to me. This was mentioned at my last visit two months ago. Now I would like to know how long before anything is going to happen before I need to take legal action. Cynthia of Dialdirect not even phone or email me to rectify this terrible situation. As a consumer I want to know your and the insurance company’s next step.
