I had a scratch and dent cover with auto magic until 3/7/15. On the 24th of June I lodged a claim for minor scratches on my car. For more than a week they didn't contact me and when I finally called they tell me they were about to call...classic excuse. Then they inform me that my claim is rejected as it exceeds my R3000 maximum cover at R15000. They claim the photos they received from evaluator shows the paint of my car is peeling off...This is a two year old car . They declined to show me the photos.<br> It is clear they are dishonest, the car doesn't even need re spraying, the scratches can be easily removed by polishing... now they say they don't cover for polishing? How else will they fix scratches that don't need re spraying? The attitude from their call centre was pathetic and I immediately cancelled my policy with them. Auto magic is just ***** scheme.
I am sorry that your experience was a poor one however our call centre staff may not do anything other than strictly apply the conditions of the contract you have with your Insurer, which is what they did in this case.
