Vehicle application without my consent
unauthorized vehicle finance inquiry/application submitted in my name by Auto Pedigree Vereeniging without my consent.
In June 2025, I app**** for vehicle finance at the dealership, which was declined.
On 08 September 2025, I discovered a Application for finance made in my name without my knowledge or authorization by Auto Pedigree Vereeniging. This unauthorized action has negatively affected my credit profile and lowered my credit score.conduct is in direct violation of:
The National Credit Act (NCA) – requiring explicit consumer consent for any credit inquiry/application.
The Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) – prohibiting the use of personal information without consent.
