Bad experience
I am concern and disappointment with the service I received from Autopedigree Mthatha Branch under manager Mr Sidumo Ngoza. I purchased a car from them in May 2020, but shortly after, I noticed that the car had a problem with water intrusion around the pedals when raining. When I reported this issue to the dealership, they told me to take the car to the nearest VW dealership in Durban, which was a significant distance away and VW failed to identify the root cause of the problem. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue with Autopedigree, they seemed to be uncooperative and unsympathetic. They eventually offered me a new deal and gave me a new car, but the problematic car was still in my name and they handed it over to someone else who couldn't pay for it. I was left with the burden of paying for the car despite it being in someone else's possession. They then gave it to the next person who couldn’t pay for it after some time, I was receiving calls from the bank as I am the owner, I had to pay for it as it was already 2 months behind. They gave the car to the third person in March 2024, the person did not insure the car. When I asked for proof of insurance as requested by the bank, I was told that the person using my car would be contacted to discuss the matter. However, when I received a call from the insurance company, they informed me that they were phoned by Pinky Eunice Nomgca, who made the deal for me at Autopedigree. The person using my car was also on the call, and they claimed that they didn't know they were supposed to take insurance and were never told. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the way Autopedigree has handled this situation. They have not only failed to resolve the issue with my car but have also left me with financial burden and uncer*****y.
