AutoPedigree = ******* PRACTICES

In November 2018,I submitted an application with MFC for car finance and my application was approved.

On the 29th of November I made contact with AutoPedigree N1 City looking for a car. I spoke to a sales guy by the name of Bradley and I made him aware that I had an approval from MFC.

In our conversation I also made him aware that I did not want any other applications/inquiries because I was trying to maintain my credit score. He assured me that there would be no applications, he will just process everything so that I get the car by end of day.

In December 2018 while checking my credit profile,I came across an inquiry on my profile from Absa Vehicle Finance. I immediately called TransUnion because I was fearing for the worst ie identity theft. They logged a dispute and also advised me to contact Absa.

Due to the inquiry my score dropped. An inquiry I had no idea of.

In January 2019, I received a call from Absa Vehicle Finance and they made me aware that the application came from Auto Pedigree. I then contacted Auto Pedigree on the 21st of January 2019 because I hadn't agreed to that and better yet I didn't give authority to them to process applications with Absa.

The Manager,Mr Robert Hector tried to down play the whole thing and disregarded how their actions were *******.

Absa will not remove that inquiry because the application was submitted to them. The Credit Bureau has done their part -dispute was logged and investigation done. AutoPedigree is now refusing to take responsibility for their actions.

I am left with an inquiry on my credit report that I never authorised and Auto Pedigree N1 City is disregarding and refusing to take responsibility of their actions.

Beware of their ******* practices.
