Auto Pedigree’s No-Liability Stance Leaves Buyers Unprotected

In April 2024, my brother and I each purchased a vehicle from Auto Pedigree, but the experience has been severely disappointing due to the lack of aftersales support. Just three months after purchasing his 2022 Toyota Rumion, my brother’s vehicle suffered a major internal gearbox failure. Despite the vehicle being under warranty, Auto Pedigree shifted all responsibility to Toyota, refusing to assist or assume any liability for the breakdown, a stance confirmed on a recorded line with management. As a result, my brother was left to pay his installments and insurance for nearly three months while waiting for repairs.

In my own case, I have been waiting over a month for a refund on value-added products after my vehicle was written off, with no acknowledgment or response from Auto Pedigree despite multiple follow-ups. The dealership’s approach has shown a troubling disregard for customer support and a lack of accountability.

To be clear, if you purchase a vehicle from Auto Pedigree, be prepared for their stance: regardless of consumer protection laws or other relevant acts safeguarding client rights, Auto Pedigree asserts that they are not liable for any mechanical breakdowns or defects on the grounds that they do not manufacture the vehicles they sell.
