*****ing peoples hard earned money

To all the people thinking of using Autoking - please do not, and save yourself the headache and your hard earned money.

I financed a private sale vehicle through Autoking in which they sold me an extended warranty. I had to cancel the extended warranty as there was an issue with the vehicle and could not be covered under the policy. I was advised by the consultant that the vehicle needs to go for the DEKRA inspection to ensure the vehicle is eligible to be covered under the extended warranty – now Autoking denies this, just another reason to not deal with them.

Motorite who the warranty was with, refunded me with an exception of the admin fees – completely understandable.

Autoking - took their dealer ship commission fees of approximately R1200 and inspection fees of R1900. Now when I request a refund on the inspection fee they say they cannot refund me. The commission fee I understand is non-refundable. But the inspection fee I can’t accept, they did not conduct any inspections on the vehicle as the vehicle was purchased in DBN and they in CPT. I paid in full for the DEKRA inspection which was conducted in DBN.

These people are just out there to ***** from people’s pockets. They completely refused to refund inspection cost. You just have to learn the hard way that there are people out there that will just ***** and not think twice.

Hope no one else gets coned by these people.
