WORST SERVICE EVER

*WORST SERVICE EVER* We bought an extended cab bakkie from this dealer which they sold to us as accident free. 1) We did a test drive with the vehicle, but on our way home (the first day after we bought this vehicle we noted issues on the vehicle.) The vehicle veers to the left, vehicle is repainted on some panels and cracks in the vehicle’s body. 2) We informed the dealer the next day that we want to return the vehicle. 3) The dealer arranged a panelbeater (independent party) to inspect the vehicle where they confirmed that the vehicle was indeed in an accident. 4) The dealer wanted another opinion (after the first one that THEY arranged). They collected the bakkie and according to the “new” opinion - the vehicle is accident free. They classify an accident as the following: “vehicle is indeed accident free as defined by the law as it was at no stage in major accident, nor a “code 3” vehicle, nor re-built.” 4) THEY wanted the second opinion and THEY collected the vehicle. We then received a lawyer letter from them indicating that we must come and pick up the vehicle as they will charge us storage fee.

5) NB!! This should impact your final decision on whether you want to go through the same that we did. One day and 90km after we wanted to return the vehicle, the dealer offered us R45k less than what we paid. Be smart, do your homework before you make your decision. Make sure you understand THEIR definition of “accident”. We were able to receive the panelbeater’s report as well as photos of the bakkie from the previous owner confirming that the bakkie was in an accident. Decide for yourself whether R142,886.50 damage would be classified as an accident or not.
