Why should I pay ?

I bought my Audi A4 from Audi and it has only been serviced at Audi centres twice since I had it.

During a service the incorrect tools was used and the sump plug was damaged. Why should I pay R580 out of my pocket for something that I did not damage ?

I am told it is because of "wear and tear". A sump plug has no moving parts. The technician that damaged the sum plug should be liable, not me. I have been without a vehicle for 5 days now.

This was the first Audi I bought, what a mistake.
