I saw an advert for a Golf 6 GTI for R220k at audi jhb, I contacted the sales who explained some history on the vehicle and requested for me to come in for a test drive, I was happy with the vehicle and requested an evaluation on my trade in, I was promised book value which was R115k, they then came back with a value of R102k. We then had numerous conversations that went to and fro about this issue, the sales team would promise to call me back on numerous occasions which didn't happen, I eventually decided to make a trip to the office to confront the sales manager, he then offered the vehicle to me at R199k to cover my trade in. I then went on holiday and contacted them on my return to finalise the sale, they confirmed that the vehicle was sold and they were awaiting a deposit from the buyer. I asked for confirmation that the car was sold and was given this when I called the next morning, to my surprise the vehicle is not sold and is now being advertised at R259k, I called on the 22 May to find out what had happened, no one bothered to tell me the vehicle was still available, the salesman told me he was busy with a customer and promised to phone me, but nothing which is no surprise
