Shocking Service and Experience

I took my car in for battery check as I was forced to book it in though the problem is only a battery. I bought the battery at Audi for R1 900.00 and I am told today that to get the battery fixed is R4 336.00. I am sure you are all shocked!!!. I bought this battery from same Audi Centre in Northcliff in March 2016, one year and a month later I have to pay this to fix the same battery. Does this really make sense???

I phoned their customer care centre and spoken to Jo-Ann who took the details of my query but now here is a catch.... I am told to provde proof of ownership of the car before customer service can attend to my query. I thought I will be asked for the invoice for the battery but instead I am asked about the ownership of the car. I sent this an hour ago to avoid delay on this matter but I am still waiting for their response. I have no other means of transport and car is sitting in their dealer in Northcliff. Service advisor, Deon Scheepers tells me that there is nothing he can do until their Head Office respond to my query. What the hell is this Audi. Sad part is that I have been in support of Audi since 2013 when I bought my first Audi CP59HW GP in Johannesburg Audi. I went further to bought used Audi from non-Audi dealer which its parts I have been buying over the counter at Audi Northcliff, today I am stranded on transport because of a battery bought from Audi. What does this mean regarding Audi batteries????
