Poor quality parts and warranty

I have a complaint about Audi which I believe most Audi owners will attest to. Generally, Audi models such as A3, A4 and A5 have a common issue with the front headlight whereby their models generally have fault with the left hand light. In most cases, they start by having a dim day running light, followed by the major head light. Most Audi drivers will notice this because they make cars look really nasty. The worrying part is that this normally happens when the car is out of the manufacture warranty and service plans where one would not be able to claim for repairs. Generally, the electrical components are not covered by most 3rd party warranty plans and this hits right in the pocket. of the owner. Can you please clarify this issue? Additionally, the same car models generally have an issue with the megatronic system immediately after the warranty has expired...Why though?
