No Honour of OTP

Hi, I saw a car on Auto Trader advertised by Audi Hatfield Rivonia and phoned them and enquired about it. They told me the car was available and gave me the full description and specs. It looked like what I was looking for and requested a test drive. After the test drive I told the sales agent that I was interested and I needed to think about it and would get back to him. He then told me sorry, but he cannot hold the vehicle for me and that if I wanted it, I would need to sign an OTP immediately. I agreed, signed the OTP, and their finance department contacted me and began the financing process. I furnished them with all the documentation they requested, they also gave me a trade in value on my car and sent me an official quote. I accepted the quote and asked that everything be finalized. They contacted me again to tell me that everything was going well and that the deal was almost done. I expected the next call to be to tell me that I should come in and sign the final papers and pick up the car. Instead, they called me and said sorry that they could not sell me the car as it was on consignment and the owner of the car was having problems settling the bank. I asked them how could this be, as the proper vetting process should have been done before they advertised the car, offered it to me, pressured me into signing an OTP, arranging the finance and making me go through the entire process, only to now come back and tell me sorry but the deal is off. After a lot phone calls and e-mails back and forth, the Dealer Principle got involved, looked into the matter and apologized to me. He went on to say that he would like to maintain a good relationship with me and offered to help me. I asked what help he was offering to me and he said that he will source me another vehicle with the same specs and he even confirmed the specs to me in writing. He also said that the only thing he could not promise me was the electric seat. I then told him that I could compromise on that and he said he will come back to me. A little while later his sales agent sent me another quote for a SIMILAR vehicle, nowhere near the one I signed for with none of the specs of the original vehicle. I responded saying that this was not the agreement and this was not what the dealer principal promised (this was on the 03/11/2017). Since then, not a single reply or response, dead quiet. Not a word. Nothing. Zip. Nada. I suppose this is the customer relationship the dealer principal (Ryan Brews) and the sales agent (Stephen Wernich) meant. I even called Audi SA and they said that they cannot get involved and that I must sort it out with the dealership. They offered to put me in contact with the dealership, (what a joke), if the dealership themselves feel that they do not need to speak to me and consider the business concluded. How utterly disgusting for them to behave in this fashion. One of the main reasons that I went to this particular business group, is because of their reputation. I hear their adverts regularly on radio. See them advertise almost daily on different web sites, and how they blow their own horn about customer service. I just did not know that this was reserved for the Privileged few. I just wanted to say thank you Audi Hatfield Rivonia for utterly humiliating and embarrassing me in front of my friends, family and people that I work with. Also thank you for showing me how you do business. Maybe you should consider adding this to all your adverti*****ts, so that the little people will know not to waste their time with you and will know what is in store for them. Maybe someday someone could explain to me how big business in this country could do something like this to "unimportant" people like me. Or maybe that's the key. UNIMPORTANT. Thanks guys.
