Extremly poor and Pathetic Service from Audi

In August 2016 we bought a Demo 2016 model A1 Audi with about 12 000km on the clock from Audi Pinetown. This car was for my sister. She initialy wanted to upgrade her car as it was her third car. She has been driving for years and owned cars for the past 6 years.

On 24 March driving to work as normal her car would suddenly not select gears at a robot, she called Audi Pinetown who towed the vehicle to the premises. She than received a call informing her the clutch is gone, the motorplan will not cover that as its a wear and tear item so she is told she must pay for the clutch at about R30 000

This car has 17 000km on the clock, it had its first 15000km service done a month and half ago. A pathetic service manager called Kevin kept on giving excuses that he will speak to his regional manager who is too busy with lots branches to find out what must he do as this is a unique case. Finally was told she must pay

My dissapointment and frustration with Audi is that, firstly how does a car with 17000km on the clock burn out clutch, unless one is riding a clutch everyday, she has driven this car less than 6000km and has now a bill of R30 000. Its not like we talking about a new driver who is driving her first car. One of her cars went over 100 000km whithout burning a clutch and was a Japanes brand for that matter.

This car is practically new, instead of taking ownership and responsibility or look depper at the problem as mechanical expectise, because surely there is a clear problem or a default on this car. Noooo lets make money out of this woman

How pathatic is Audi Pinetown or Audi South Africa is and shifting the blame.
