Of all the companies in the world one would think that Audi would provide world class service, but sadly they don’t. But one person says they are rated the best when it comes to service and that’s Stupid Phillip. You will hear later about why his opinions are not even worth a cent. After three attempts to try replace my battery that has left me stranded on two occasion, I took my car to Audi Braamfontein for a final testing and the car was received no stress. But before leaving to pick it up after work this was 13:00, I got a call from Sakhiwo, a very pleasant gentleman, whose one of a few people that knows what he’s doing in that Godforsaken place. He said it will take 12 hours to test the battery properly which means the car will be kept overnight. I got on the phone immediately to speak to his superior, yes you guessed it right, Stupid Phillip. I explained that on three occasion no one told me that the car had to stay overnight for the batter to be properly tested and I have two emergencies to deal with one which includes my mother whose 70 and lost somewhere at Proteas Glen. Not to mention my four year son, who had to be picked up from my sister’s place. Any way he flatly refused to help I then called the call center, now enter Blondie Enrica, who also said they can’t help me. But she will send a request to the Braam branch for further assistance. I even suggested that they borrow me a second hand batter then charge mine overnight as long as I can do all this and buy my groceries because Wednesday was going to be hectic with the shutdown and all. I then arrived at the dealer just like I suspected the car was still being charged. I then asked for Stupid P, like a high school bully rose from his chair and asked me to contact the person that I spoke to. What a nerve. But hey I’m the tittle man here and these guys are doing me a favour right. But anyway. I couldn’t get a hold of the Blond, left a message. She still didn’t call me back. 20mins later I called again only to find that she send the request to the VW boss across the street instead of Audi. I spoke to her asked to rectify this, she showed me her response which was not the actual answer from the branch. I told her this and she asked to speak to Stupid Phillip and I could hear him say “I don’t know what he wants me to say. I told him that’s how we work maybe he needs someone to tell him nicely”. We all know what means right…. I then had a long conversation with Stupid Phillip about how I’ve been inconvenienced, but no…he could not bring himself to understanding my hardship. Instead reiterated the company’s position. Half an hour later he comes back and says we put the car on super charge this way we can get the battery faulty report sooner. I was pulling my hair at this stage asking him why they didn’t not use that freaken charger in the first place. He said you must just be happy that battery will be replaced and you will have your car. It’s this attitude and lack of empathy coupled with taking certain people of our population for granted which really ****ed me off.
