Clutch plate damaged within 3 months (Audi)

I bought an Audi A1 1.0 TFSi S 2017 model at Audi Pinetown on the 1st of November 2018. On the 20th of March 2019 (3 months later), the car could not get into gears after stopping at the traffic lights. I took the car to Audi centre Port Elizabeth (where I am residing). I was told that they need about R5000 to assess the car and find out if the fault is due to my bad driving or mechanical. Today the 27th of March I got a call from my service advisor telling me that the clutch got damaged from overheating and that's due to my driving and I will have to pay for the parts to fix it myself. The amount that I have to pay including the R5000 to assess the car is about R16000. The car is still under warranty and Audi is refusing to pay because I'm the bad driver. I have driven my first car for more than 6 years without experiencing clutch problems. Could it be that Audi's clutch kit is weaker than Mazda's. This is really frustrating because I bought a fairly new car hoping that it would not give me problems and now this.
