Audi Pre-owned car sold with **** permit at dealership

<p>I purchased a pre-owned Audi from Audi N1 on 13 August, the experience from a customer service point of view was below par is anything, I flew to cape town at my own expense and was only given a key ring and tank of fuel for my troubles.</p> <p>Drove to Jhb over Saturday and Sunday and as I entered Gauteng I was stopped at a roadblock and after inspecting the car I was told that the temp permit was a **** document and that I would be arrested and the car would be impounded.</p> <p> </p> <p>While at the dealership, my dad who was with me noticed that the licence disc had expired 2 months ago, when we brought it to the attention of the salesman, he was shocked, (so much for Audi's quality check on their pre-owned cars), he then proceeded to pull out the disc and plates off the car and arrived 30 seconds later with a temporary permit which you normally have to apply for through a licencing dept.</p> <p>Unknown to me, but obviously the salesman was aware he had placed a **** piece of paper as a permit on the car which had no dealer stamp or watermark.</p> <p>I had to stand on the roadside for 45 minutes as I tried to call the salesmen on his cell but had switched it off, then called Audi Assist who could only refer me to the workshop manager at Audi N1 who then gave me the no of the Pre-Owned manager,</p> <p>In the end neither Audi N1 or Audi Assist could assist me and I had to resolve the matter on my own with my own resources,</p> <p>I received an authentic document from another Barloworld Audi dealer on Monday,</p> <p> </p> <p>According to a lawyer, this is not the first instance of this occurring with Audi SA,</p> <p> </p>
