Audi Northcliff not willng to pay for broken Windscreen

I took my car to Audi Northcliff for service, when I went to pick it up the windscreen was broken. I asked what happened and did not get answers. A full inspection was done when I brought the car in.

The service consultant Morne told me he will talk to his manager and give feedback the following day, a week went past and no contact whatsoever from the dealer. Then I sent an email to get a very arrogant answer from the consultant telling me the car was driven at my "own risk" and that the dealer will not take responsibility for the damage and further told me to claim from my insurance.

To further annoy me, I forgot to remove some valuables from the car and they were taken away. When I raised the matter I was refered to clause 12 of the signed service document.

I'm failing to understand how Audi conviniently puts clauses on their service contract to protect your neglegent and unfaithful staff. Signing a piece of paper does not give anybody a right to remove and take items mistakably left in the car that do not belong to them.

The dealership is ignoring my calls and emails, I need my windscreen fixed, I will not claim from my insurance nor will I pay a bill of R7200 for the broken windscreen. Audi Northcliff does not respect their clients and lacks intergrity!!!
