Audi Centre Menlyn - Lying About Accident Free Cars

I wanted to purchase a preowned car at Audi Centre Menlyn this week so I contacted the salesman to find out more about the car. I asked all the usual questions a interested buyer would ask and came to the one most important question "Was this car in an accident?" and the salesman rep**** and said this car was not in any accidents and further said "We a reputable dealership and will not market nor sell a vehicle which was in a major accident. ".

I kept on insisting that this car be taken to a reputable place that assessors and evalutates cars to advise if there are any issues and even told the dealer that I am prepared to make the booking and pay for the assessment. After much debated the car was assessed and as discovered it was in an accident to such an extent that the chase at the back of the car was bent. The assessor even showed the driver where the damage was. After I got the report I finally went to the dealer to see the car and discovered that the drive was infact the salesman. When I asked and told the guy that this car was in an accident he blatently **** and denied and kept saying "if it was in an accident then it must of been minor" how can a salesman tell you how bad the accident was if an assessor cant advise the severity. I then contacted the branch manager and kindly asked him if he could reconsider a better price as the car was in an accident and he said and I quote " Can you please mail me copies of the report , then I will make my decision if we will sell the A1 to you or not ." by his response it already showed me that his attitude towards this sale wasnt going anywhere.

I was expecting a high class professional service from what I thought was a high quality brand but after encountering such bad service like this and they even deny and lie through their teeth is beyond unprofessional. Stay away from Audi Centre Menlyn and from salesman Rinus Moses and branch manager Johan van Heerden.
