Audi Centre Menlyn

<p>1. Audi Centre Menlyn requested a reserve payment of R1000 (re-fundable) to secure the purchase of a specific pre-owned Audi for a few days. After weeks and numerous written and telephonic request for repayment of the R1000 or supplying reasons for non-payment Audi Centre Menlyn was unresponsive. I cancelled the possible purchase of the Audi because the service history reflected numerous overheating problems including replacement of the engine, radiator, thermostat and intake manifold gasket. On my request Silverton Radiators supp**** a written report indicating positive testing for Carbon dioxide gas in the cooling system on this Audi. Notwithstanding the damage to the motor and cooling system they refused to attend to this problem. Audi Centre should inform their customers in advance that any reserve payment will be non-refundable in any circumstances.</p>
