Audi Centre Hatfield taking me for a fool

<p>I bought a used Audi A6 in February 2017 and as part of the deal they were to replace the tires and the front windscreen. They only replaced the front tires, saying the rear tires are in good condition. The rear tires need replacing as they are finished. The windscreen has not been replaced yet. Seeing that its difficult for them to get the windscreen, I told the sales peson to instead pay me for the cash value of the windscreen. He later confimed that they will pay me the cash value of the windscreen. Last week he came with an amount of R2000 as cash value for the windscreen. When I asked for the price of the windscreen from thier parts dept, I recieved a quotation of R7100 which excludes fitment. One of the fitment agents closest to them that they use for fitment qouted R9000 for the windscreen, which included ftment. When I questioned this amount with the sales person he said, the wind screen costs that much from agents, I guess fitment is free. I expected Audi Hatdield to say to me, the overall cost is X amount and lets talk about an equitable amount that they can pay me. We can take a a discussion from there. It seems like thay want to make a saving at my expense. Its a know fact it will cost them far more than the R2000 to replace my windscreen as it seems like this amount is only for fitment of the glass. It also seems like the sales person (Eugene) is ignoring me which is unfortunate. I'm available to talk about the amount, as I believe this is a minor issue that can be resolved quickly.</p>
