Audi Centre Cape Town - buy a car from us, just don't bring us your car if there is a problem

I'm writing this review because I have now had it with Audi Centre Cape Town and do not know where to to get some answers.

I'll start from the beginning; my car went in for a service and two issues in May 2016. The service was completed however my issues of the power steering and the key that sticks was not resolved. Audi made me bring the car in 3 more times before they eventually half-resolved my issues (thus a total of 4 times I had to drive in to Audi drop my car and then pick it up again - Audi is about 30km from my house and I use my car every day for work) I thus had to make alternative arrangements on 3 of the 4 occassions because if I do not have a car I cannot go an see clients. 1 of the times Audi gave me a courtesy car as the fourth time I had to take my car in they kept it for a week.

When I picked up my car the fourth time they had finally managed to fix the key that was sticking, the power steering was another story. They fixed the squeak in the power steering however I still complained that the power steering is not as smooth and easy as it should be - I compared this to a similar model A4 as well as my mother's Getz. Now if a Getz's power steering is easier that and Audi A4's you know there is a problem.

I was however told that there is nothing wrong with the power steering and the car is fine.

No my car has gone in again as the leaking which I orginally was told was due to the engine mountings (which was replaced) has not stopped since. I also asked a friend of mine, that is a mechanic, to have a look and he informed me that the whole engine is full of power steering liquid! Thus the reason why the power steering is not what it should be. He advised me to take the car back to Audi.

I took my car in on Wednesday (21 Sep 2016) afternoon as it was booked in on Thursday (22 Sep 2016). On Thursday I was phoned once at 12h, to tell me that they are still busy with my car, and again at 16h, to tell me that they still do not know what is wrong with the car it needs to go for an engine clean as the products Audi Centre Cape Town uses will not clean the engine. I was thus under the impression that the car will be going for the engine cleaning as I was also told this happens off site. When I phoned Friday at around 12h I was informed that the car needs to go in for the engine cleaning (imagine my dismay as I was told this was happening - which I assumed would be Friday morning). They then offered that I can come and fetch the car and bring it back Monday morning, this was unacceptable as I would have had to sit in traffic and this would have been an absolute waste of time! I then said that they should rather keep the car and get the problems resolved.

Again today I was phoned at 12h and informed that theyt are still busy with the problem. When I phoned at 16h I was told that Audi still as not found the leak and they do not know what is leaking (they think it is a mixture of water, oil or power steering liquid). I was promise a call back in 2 minutes. Needles to say Audi has now closed for the day and I'm still waiting for my call back just to find out what is wrong with the car. I have tried phoning the Service manager but he has left for the day and I do not want to speak to Zukile anymore has he clearly does not know what is going on with my car.

So now I wait for tomorrow which will be the fourth day I do not have a car and also do not know what is wrong with my car.

I think this experience has cured me from ever owning an Audi again. Maybe BMW or Merc is a better choice for German Engineering in the futire.
