AUDI A3 STRONIC GEARBOX RECALL

I have an audi a3 1.4 tfsi stronic. I took my car for service at the glen last year and by mistake i was told that there was a recall on the stronic gearbox and that they only changed the gearbox oil to make the it smoother. if i did not see the invoice of the recall i was not going to know about it. i then drove the car for a few weeks and the 3rd & 4th gear started jumping. i foned the glen and they told me that it will be fine. on sunday i drove the car without any problem and parked it. yesterday morning the car wouldnt start at all and the P on the gear started flashing, the engine doesn`t turn at all.<br> i phoned Adui Sa to tell them that the gearbox is giving me problems and that can they diagnose it and check if the problem is related to the recall or is it something else, I was told that the recall is only done for cars under warranty and that its no longer Audi SA responsibility. if the car was recall because of the same problem then surely Audi SA should take responsibility if the problem is due to the recall. all I am asking is for Audi to check if the problem is recall related or not!!!!!<br>
