I have been driven 6 different Audi models over a period of 25 years. What an absolute idiot I have been. I have had serious problems with every single one. Of course, while the vehicles are under a maintenance plan there are no costs involved but it is always an inconvenience. Once the maintenance plan is over, however, the real problems start and it is always major mechanical problems of all varieties that are always extremely costly to repair.

My latest experience was with a recently purchased Q3 ( I foolishly purchased ANOTHER Audi because Audi were the only ones who would give me a decent trade in.) The red light indicating a problem with the cooling system came on and I was forced to top up the reservoir and drive 50km to the nearest Audi dealer in George. My wife had to accompany me since Audi Tavcor in George were reluctant to make available a courtesy car. The vehicle has been there for 2 weeks and as a result I have lost a sizable portion of my income. As I sit here writing this review I am waiting to ascertain whether Audi Tavcor will deliver my vehicle since I have no means with which to collect it. To those out there thinking of purchasing an Audi I would strongly advise against it. And I'm talking from 25 years of experience.
