Audi 2.0 T engine failures not recognised in SA (but in USA yes...)

I have now twice experienced significant failures on Audis I owned the past 10 years. The one was a clutch pressure plate on a 2007 B7 RS4 and the other a timing CHAIN (not belt) on a2012 Q5 2.0T. In both instances the vehicle was barely out of the 100 000 km maintenance and Audi refused to even investigate the cause of these failures which in my opinion was design/manufacturing mistakes. Search on the web for Audi FSI 2.0 T timing issues and you will come across the USA court settlement particularly on these type of engines. An acknowledged mistake but here in South Africa no support at all.
