3rd time ... still unlucky!

Call me a FOOL .... justified by this :THIRD consecutive Q7 and although this vehicle hasn't given us engine problems as with our previous two; whilst driving on a freeway from Swaziland to JNB, the glass of the drivers side mirror came undone, banged against the drivers window - still connected to the wiring (causing damage to the window film), and then broke off.

Having reported the vibration of the mirror to the dealer @ 15 000 service and it being "rectified', I would assume AUDI - having supp**** a brand new car with a fault their dealer "rectified" would take SOME responsibility. Instead, I was told because I do not have the part ie. did not put my life at risk by stopping on a busy freeway to collect a million pieces of glass from the road, AUDI is not able to conclude the issue is a factory fault; and I therefore am responsible for its replacement!

Well AUDI if it's the LAST financial contribution I make to your business - after purchasing 3 vehicles - then that's what I'll do! The Q7 is hard to get over (even with the numerous engine issues previously had) ... BUT your service over all the years of Q7 ownership makes it possible! MERCEDES here I come.
