My wife intimidated to buy their tyres before they could release her car

On Saturday 20th 2017, i recieved a frantic call from my wife, saying that Audi West Rand where she took her car for service told her that her rear left tyre was worn and they wont release her car unless she replaced the two rear tyres.

This sounded very strange as i am sure that no dealership can hold a customer hostage until they replaced worn out tyres. By this time they had already given her a quotation for replacement tyres. I told my wife that she must tell them to use her spare wheel, which option they never advanced to her when they bul**** her into buying tyres.

She came home so upset with what she thought was a workshop manager who presented "i know whats good for you attitude" followed by the service adviser called Tilly who also watched as the workshop manager intimidated her.

Things that went wrong:-

- Using Bullying tactics to clinch a tyre sale

- Holding a customer hostage

- Taking advantage of a woman driver

I called the dealership on Saturday afternoon and asked to speak to the dealer principal or the workshop manager. they had already left and i was put through to Tilly the service advisor who without mincing her words insinuated that my wife was lying and that nothing of that sort occurred. I found no use in continuing a discussion with her. I asked her to ask the dealer principal to phone me on Monday so we can sort this matter out. needless to say the reason i am writing this review is that nobody called me.
