Breach of Verbal Contract

I was highest bidder on a timed auction for a Toyota Yaris with a bid lower than the reserved price. The following day, Tebogo from Auction Nation told me they could give me the car if I met the reserve price of R45'000.00, which I agreed to pay. He promised to send me a confirmation email with payment instructions in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later, I got no email and had to contact Auction Nation, only for Tebogo to then call me back to say that the reserve price had suddenly been moved up to R55'000.00 (allegedly by the insurance company that was selling the car). I feel ****** by such a very dishonest business practice!
