Legal charges added

I paid up my loan from atlas finance , the debit order went through on the 1st of October 2015 , a week later i was told i have been handed over to their legal department . I contacted the legal department and i was told i have to pay an extra 680 rand for legal charges , my account was handed over on the 30th of September even though i have been communicating with the branch that i get paid after month end and i was on short time . I called the legal dept again today 20 October 2015 and found out that the money i paid was still reflecting as not paid in their accounts . My boss passed on on the 2nd of October 2015 and the company i'm working for in particular might not continue , i explained this to the legal dept but they told me they want their money if i don't pay it they will be more charges added on top .Please assist .
