acccount still not closed

I have been complaining about a loan that was long paid up! (last year 2015 may) that is still showing as open on my credit reports. I am tired of this as I have requested the particular atlas branch to please update this, when I became aware of it... as it is ruining my score but still it hasn't happened. there was even a loan I took after this that I fought with them to update, it finally did but not this particular one. they have assured me that they have even drafted me a paid up letter but months keep going and this is still appearing. I am really frustrated and don't know what to do anymore.
