100% interest rate.

I was handed over by Atlas for their mistake they recorded down incorrect account number for debit order, i even went to their office after the debit order didn't go through but i was told to wait maybe it will go through i emailed them number of times regarding this account until they decided to hand me over to my worst nightmare Debt tec, i owed Atlast R3000 so i decided to give them a call again this year so i can do an EFT and close this account then they told me i should call debt tec as they now have my account, Debt tec told me i should pay R6000 to close this account R6000? never had of a 100%. interest rate never in my life i suspect Debt tec and Atlas is owed by the same person theres no way an account can be handed over in less than a year interest has gone up by 100% i want to settle this account as in yesterday but not when i'm being charged loan shark interest never. i will report this matter to credit umbudsman we are being ********** here.
