Poor service and lack of communication

I made a booking and was informed that accommodation was available, then after a week I phoned to confirm and all of a sudden were told that it was no longer available even though I have an email confirmation. Instead they wanted to sell me more expensive accommodation which I did not budget for, I'm very dissapointed as I think that they sell the accomadation in order of preference to people that they have a closer relationship with.
