Poor accommodation standards

We booked an apartment for 4 adults which comprises of 2 couples. However 1 bedroom has a double bed while the other is 2 single beds which does not make sense. The agent should have been honest that the place does not cater for what we needed as customers . How does an adult sleep on a single bed, while we are a couple not children. I sent e-mail and it was read and no response was sent. We have paid to be accommodated as adults not kids. Can this issue be resolved, we cannot sleep uncomfortable for four nights. It is just an insult. Thank you
