Misleading

<p>I do wish to prevent others from making the same mistake that I did. I have been to the ATKV Natalia resort and have always had a reasonable stay. I was keen on planning a family trip to Drakensville and noticed that the rates were much cheaper shuld you be a member, so I decided to join in the hopes of booking an 8 sleeper, as advertised on the website. So I paid the annual fee and am now a member. When I called the resort to make a booking, I was informed there are no longer 8 sleeper units, I would need to book a 6 sleeper(memeber rate) and a 4 sleeper(non member rate), this obviously works out to a cost much higher than expected. I realised that I may then not be able to benefit in this way. Then I decided to contact the Natalia resort(which is the only one easily accessible to me) about the Day visitor option, I was informed that it is the only resort that doesnt have a day visitors area and can only permit it in the low season. To top that the cost is R53 per person, and R53 for the vehicle. So it would cost my family R250 to visit the resort for a day!!!! The benefits of being a member are very misleading. I will not end up using any benefit from this membership and tried requesting a refund after this experience via email, but the response I got did not acknowledge any of my concerns. I was just told that I am paid up till the end of the year. I did not want to resort to this platform to be heard, but I cant accept that my R900 is wasted due to misinformation. People considering applying for membership(esp KZN) need to know that the DAY visitor option is not really an option. And please correct the information on the ATKV Drakensville site, 8 sleepers are not available!!!!</p>
