Buffel****rt is a Retirement Resort for Rude, Angry and Sad old people
I would like to share on how disappointed I was after spending the past weekend at ATKV Buffel****rt. 2 Stands from us were a group of about 10 people that were also camping, guessing they were aged between 25 and 30. They were really a nice bunch of folks and did not make a lot of noise. They would sometimes play soft music from one of their cars while enjoying breakfast or making dinner that were not a disturbance at all. All well until a very grumpy and very rude old guy and a lady (working at resort) drove by in a golf-cart. He jumped out and shouted at them like they were ********* and used swear words to get a message accross. He insinuated that they were making noise and that he will ensure that they will pack up camp faster than they pitched it. The group was not very happy to receive this type of confrontation and one can see that they were not happy. They switched off their music. Later that afternoon another 2 guys wearing buffel****rt T-shirts stopped at their campsite (faint music could be heard from their cars) and told them that they were not allowed to play music from their cars. It felt to me and all our neighbor campers that this specific group of "your customers" were picked on and not treated with an inch of respect. Rules were made up and that were not seen in any disclaimers. We feel that any young campers' money is just as good as old people's money.
Buffel****rt is a very nice place to go and have a holiday...........if you are above the age of 65. The old people working/staying on the property should understand that it is a holiday resort and not a retirement resort, and that the noise levels will be more during weekends and school holidays. Why do you have a 22:00 cut-off time as rules in the resort if you have very abrupt, disgusting and abusive old people driving around during broad daylight to harass other campers.
Due to this experience not me, or my family will sit a foot at any of your retirement villages again if you cannot respect all of your paying customers and treat them equally. Young people should also feel welcome at your resorts as they are indeed your future clientele.
