All this way for nothing

After a long drive from JHB, we reached our holiday destination hoping for a relaxing holiday. According to the website certain facilities would be unavailable but ready by December. Well we had to wait until 3 days into our holiday to have access to the cold pools, slides and jungle gym.... at a cost. The website states that the hot pools would be ready by August 2016, we will be home before they open almost 3 months after the above stated date. The Pram and wheelchair access to the pretpark was blocked by face painters and entertainers tent, without an alternative available.

guests have pets, not one but 4, but obviously the rules only apply to some. An email was sent to the resort with no response. We even had to change our own linen, which I could've stayed at home to do

my question is what does this resort offer at no extra cost = nothing. The beach is open and fortunately they have not managed to figure out how to charge for it. Unlike the other resorts frequented, it seems you need to pay for a swim or to play on the jungle gym. I understand that some facilities are shared then concession should be made and the accommodation prices should include this.

For families on a budget this resort will result in a terrible holiday.

Not it being able to walk long distances, and the lack of adequate pavements and ramps making use of the parking at the pretpark might result in having to take a second bond on your house, for 3 hours at R175 and additional R200 for anything after 4 hours, I wonder how this compares to 5 star resorts like sun city... after much research it doesn't, the amount is over the top and ridiculous.

Cannot justify the almost R10 000 rand spent and more than 10 hours travelled on this holiday.
